Exercise?! I thought you said extra-fries! 😉

My name is Ryoko. I am born and raised in Brussels, Belgium. Belgium is the land of chocolate, beer, waffles and… French (oups I mean, Belgian) fries. Family tradition is that Friday night is, Frie-day night. Over the year I have gotten a bit sick of fries. This year is going to be different… I am going to find the best friterie in Belgium. Every Frie-day (or almost), I will try a different friterie and rate and review it. Let’s get fry-ing!

What am I looking for?

1- Golden, crispy fries, cooked throughout

2- a friendly staff which is welcoming and makes you want to come back!

3- a clean and hygienic environment

4- a nice Belgian ambiance which includes my n°5

5- The friterie offers multiple very cold beer “au fut” in a glass

6- Outdoor and indoor seating (as Belgium is the known to be wet… most times)

7- Fresh meats and homemade sauces

8- Cheap prices (or at least affordable ones. The best thing about a friterie is that you can go out without becoming completely broke.)
